TRIO World Academy marked an impressive milestone with a remarkable performance at the BAASC Badminton Tournament held at the Canadian International School (CIS). Participating in an inter-school badminton tournament for the very first time, the school’s Middle and High School students showcased exceptional skill, commitment, and sportsmanship throughout the day.

The tournament featured strong competition, with participation from leading institutions including CIS, Bangalore International School (BIS), Stonehill International School (SIS), Oasis International School (OIS), Legacy School Bangalore (LSB), and TRIO. Matches were conducted across four categories: High School Boys, High School Girls, Middle School Boys, and Middle School Girls.

The High School Boys team delivered a standout performance. After finishing as runners-up in the league stage, they advanced to the finals where they faced Stonehill International School. Rising to the occasion, the team played with confidence and precision, securing a decisive 3–0 victory to claim the championship title.

The High School Girls team also had an admirable run. They performed consistently in the league stage to earn a place in the finals, again facing Stonehill International School. In a closely contested match, they displayed a fighting spirit but finished as tournament runners-up.

In the Middle School Girls category, the team finished as runners-up in the league stage. They advanced to the finals against Bangalore International School. The match proved to be intensely competitive, culminating in a nail-biting tie-breaker where they narrowly missed the title, securing a commendable second place.

The Middle School Boys team also contributed to the school’s success, competing strongly across matches and earning a third-place finish overall.

This tournament proved to be a defining moment for TRIO World Academy. Securing the High School Boys Championship along with runner-up finishes in both the High School Girls and Middle School Girls categories is a significant achievement.

The event highlighted the students’ dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Their efforts not only brought pride to the school but also set a strong foundation for future participation in competitive sports.
