Celebrating Cultural Ties: Consul-General of Japan Visits TRIO World Academy

TRIO World Academy was honoured to welcome Mr. Hiroshi Nawata, Consul-General of Japan in Bengaluru, to our campus on the occasion of the Closing Ceremony of the Japanese Supplementary School (JSS).

For many years, JSS has played an important role in supporting the educational and cultural needs of the Japanese community in Bengaluru, enabling students to stay connected to their language, culture, and traditions while pursuing their education abroad.

Mr. Nawata was received by Mr. Naveen KM, Managing Director, Trio Schools, Mr. Brian Irving, Head of School, and Mr. Bishwajeet Bhattacharya, Executive Director. The visit provided a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the strong partnership between TRIO World Academy and the Japanese community, built on shared values of education, cultural exchange, and global understanding.

As a mark of appreciation, Mr. Naveen KM presented a commemorative plaque to Mr. Nawata in recognition of his outstanding efforts in strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between Japan and India.

The visit also included warm interactions with students, parents, and members of the JSS community, celebrating another successful year of learning, cultural exchange, and collaboration.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Nawata and the entire JSS community for their continued trust and partnership, and we look forward to further strengthening these ties in the years ahead.
