Across Borders Through Art: Trio World Academy at the India–Sakai Children’s Art Exhibition, Japan
Trio World Academy, Bengaluru, is proud to celebrate a remarkable global achievement as our students’ artworks are showcased at the 3rd India–Sakai Children’s Art Exhibition in Japan. This prestigious international exhibition was jointly inaugurated on 12th August 2025 by Consul General Mr. Chandru Appar and Sakai City Mayor H.E. Nagafuji Hideki, marking a significant moment of cultural collaboration between India and Japan.

Centred on the inspiring theme “Across Borders: India and Japan through Art,” the exhibition brings together creativity, culture, and friendship beyond geographical boundaries. Featuring artworks from five esteemed institutions and 130 young artists from both countries, the exhibition reflects the power of artistic expression in fostering international-mindedness and cross-cultural understanding, both tenets deeply embedded in our educational philosophy.
Our students’ participation highlights Trio World Academy’s commitment to inquiry-based learning, interdisciplinary learning, and nurturing the IB Learner Profile, where creativity, open-mindedness, and global awareness are key. Through art, our learners explore identity, tradition, and shared human experiences, reinforcing the spirit of global citizenship that lies at the heart of both the International Baccalaureate (IB) and International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) curricula.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Sakai City Government and Ms. Hiromi Kato for their invaluable support in making this international platform possible. Their encouragement has enabled young artists to confidently share their perspectives with a global audience.
The exhibition will remain open to visitors until 22nd August 2025, continuing to celebrate youthful imagination and the enduring bond between India and Japan.
