TRIO World Academy’s Grade 5 students embarked on a deeply meaningful and engaging journey for their PYP Exhibition under the transdisciplinary theme How We Express Ourselves, with a particular focus on understanding and mastering the art of persuasion. This journey was not just an academic exercise, but a transformative experience that allowed students to explore the power of expression in shaping opinions, influencing actions, and inspiring change.

Over the course of several weeks, students immersed themselves in a wide range of ideas, perspectives, and real-world issues. They investigated how communication, when used effectively, can evoke emotions, present viewpoints, and encourage others to think critically or act purposefully.

Throughout this process, learners developed a strong appreciation for the different forms and styles of expression along with the techniques of persuasion. They explored verbal, non-verbal, and digital communication, recognizing how tone, body language, visuals, and storytelling techniques all contribute to persuasive impact.
